Introduction
The MPC-8890 was designed with low power consumption in mind, capable of using Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors up to 2.0 GHz. With support for 4/5/8 wire resistive touch panels via an onboard touch screen controller, dual view function, 5.1 channel audio output, 4 digital I/O (In/Out), 4 COM and USB 2.0 ports, the MPC-8890 is specifically suitable for high-end POS and KIOSK applications. In addition, with an integral mini-PCI slot, the MPC-8890 is also suitable for wireless applications via preexisting mini-PCI wireless LAN modules.
 
Excellent Sound and Visual quality
Furthermore, the MPC-8890 can offer users a higher quality visual display platform. The maximum resolution is up to 1600 x 1200 pixels in True Color. High quality second-generation graphics technology from S3 Uni-Chrome enhances the visual performance in 2D as well as 3D.
